HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE STATS
Here is basic the procedure for automatic scoring.
1. Using your internet browser you go to the http://quickstats.com/nflstats/stats.htm web site.
2. Enter your username and password (not needed until the 4^th NFL week).
3. Click on The Kommish.
4. Right Click on NFL week you want the stats downloaded to your computer.
5. Your browser should ask where you want to save the file and you should choose the C:\Kommish\Download folder.
6. Now you can exit you internet browser if you wish.
7. Start The Kommish software and load the league you wish to score.
8. Go to Update Scoring.
9. Click or double-click on the scoring file you want to score your league with (for fantasy week #1 the file would be 09wk01k.nfl).
10. Your league will now be scored.

Your web browser maybe setup to display text file (this means the stats save to your screen instead of you hard drive). You must select SAVE AS and Save to Disk (this could require you to right click on the week #1 and choose Save Target As). The Save In location needs to be C:\Kommish\Download. The method depends on your web browser.

NOTE: If when you select Save As the file name for the stats has a double suffix (e.g. 09wk01k.nfl.txt) you will need to modify this file name. Eliminate the .nfl and left the .txt (the stats file name would be 09wk01k.txt). The Kommish software will recognize files ending with either .nfl or .txt but will not recognize files ending with .nfl.txt .
